Tim Guilfoile, an FFF Life member and the FFF SEC 2010 Conservationist of the Year recipient, sent along the following info on a new online magazine called The Contemporary Sportsman. Although not strictly dedicated to fly fishing, there is a lot of fly fishing content. Ron Ellis (also a Northern Kentucky Fly Fishers member and author of sporting books) and Tim are both editors and contributing writers as is Soc Clay (a noted Kentucky writer). Tim is the Conservation Editor.

Tim has a regular column called Wilderness Journal with the tag line: "...our wilderness is slipping away...All of a sudden, it's past time to protect it. It's not too late, but it's past time." Rick Bass

The spring issue is out. Go to this link: http://www.thecontemporarysportsman.com/index.php

On the top right-hand side click "Subscribe"......all that is required is to put in your email address and create a password. They do not sell or otherwise distribute email addresses at all...period, the end. Then log in......It is completely free......supported entirely by advertising. Once you are into the magazine, you will notice arrows at the bottom of the page. The single arrow will turn one page at a time. There are also controls on the left hand side and if you put your cursor over them, an explanation of their function is provided. Go to page 10 and you will see the editors and contributing writers. Go to page 58 for Tim's column for this issue.
