This year the Fly Fishing Show & Conclave moved to the beautiful UNICOI STATE PARK LODGE IN HELEN, GEORGIA and we just have tot tell you how glad we are to have made that decision. The lodge and grounds are wonderful, the facility services were grand and the food and service staff at the restaurant were absolutely great!

If you are planning an "eastern mountains" vacation you really need to consider this great place. Being right outside the town of Helen, GA (think "a small versionof Gatlinburg, TN") adds to the charm and attraction. The headwaters of the Chatahoochee River flow right through the center of town and offers a large variety of activites for the entire family.
We will be back next year - The FFF Southeastern Flyfishing Festival will be held here again in 2011 ... who knows, maybe we've finally found our permanent home. Over the next year we will be preparing for that event and hope to attract more folks here to share our bounty of flyfishing lore and love.

Unicoi State Park has numerous other activities that a family can enjoy. There are daily programs on wildlife, adventure hiking, and clinics encompassing ecology, golf, tennis, and much more and there are plenty of places to fish (check those out below).
