DAVID HULSEY 

DAVID HULSEY started fly fishing in the late 1970's when he caught his first trout on Hazel Creek in the Smoky Mountains. Over the past 15 years, he has guided on the streams and lakes of Georgia, North Carolina, and Wyoming. David is the manager of the Unicoi Outfitters store in Blue Ridge, Georgia. David is a graduate of the Joan Wulff Fly Casting Instructor School, and is an FFF Certified Casting Instructor. He was the first instructor for the Unicoi Outfitters fly fishing class. He has appeared on Growing Up Outdoors and O'Neill Outside on ESPN2. He is also a published outdoor writer and photographer. In his off-time, he enjoys woodworking on is handcrafted wooden Mackenzie drift boat and fly tying. David's specialties include sight fishing trophy trout and "combat fishing" the small streams of the Southern Appalachians. David is on the Pro Staff team of RL Winston Rods and Ross Reels.
